Ring Outdoor Camera Plus (Power over Ethernet)

poE switch not included, obviously, but people always forget that part until the camera arrives

genuinely curious how it handles direct sun on a south-facing wall here, the IP rating is fine but the lens coating is the question nobody answers

the marketing says 'non-stop power' and '64% off' but the spec sheet is doing zero work explaining what PoE actually requires on your end, feels incomplete

PoE is genuinely the right call for outdoor cams, no battery anxiety, no solar panel nonsense, this is the move

another Ring, another month of subscription fees they dont mention in the listing

anyone got the older Ring outdoor gen, curious if the build held up in the summer heat here!!
